Ecological materials for our furniture
Our seating furniture is made from local and ecological materials that are natural and renewable, or recycled, and always recyclable. The wood, the most used material in the manufacture of our furniture, is natural, renewable, and recyclable; at Delavelle, it comes from a supply radius of 15 km maximum, and most often from sustainably managed public communal forests, which, like our sawmill and our furniture manufacturing workshop, are PEFC certified.
Furniture that minimizes its carbon footprint
A very local wooden piece of furniture already has a very reduced carbon impact, but we go further: our seating is almost all stackable, so we can reduce the transport volume by four, stacking stools or chairs for deliveries, especially in professional fitting projects such as restaurants, bars, or hotels. We manage to deliver all the seating for a 60-cover restaurant with a small 20m³ van, while usually, a large truck is required.
Durable seating furniture
All our furniture is handcrafted with high-quality standards and traditional cabinetmaking joints to ensure maximum durability and repairability. Wearable parts, such as seat and back cushions, are designed to be repaired or replaced if necessary. All our seating furniture is 5-year guaranteed and spare parts are available indefinitely.
