Tabouret Bas en Bois Massif Eco-conçu Made in France

Discover our collection of eco-friendly low stools made with PEFC certified wood, sourced from locally managed sustainable forests. The minimalist design, the use of solid wood, and the natural finish often recall Scandinavian design, but they are made in France in our workshop in Saulnot, Burgundy-Franche-Comté. Every detail matters in creating a unique interior, which is why we offer you the possibility to customise the design of your stool by choosing the wood from different wood types, the finish, and the made-to-measure seat height that perfectly matches your project.

The wood of our stools: local, natural, and eco-friendly

Made from oak, walnut, or beech, our low stools are always crafted from local, natural wood, PEFC certified, sourced from sustainably managed forests located less than 15 km from our workshop. The trees are sawn in our own sawmill, then the planks are slowly and naturally air-dried to perfect the quality of this exceptional material. The short supply chain and natural drying process allow this renewable material to retain its excellent ecological qualities, minimizing its environmental impact.

A minimalist and eco-friendly design for a high-quality stool

The eco-design at the heart of all our low stools ensures the combination of design and eco-conception from the creation phase, resulting in an eco-friendly stool with the best environmental impact. The craftsmanship of our cabinetmakers and chair makers, along with the traditional joinery used, guarantees a stool of excellent build quality, durable and repairable over time. We also provide repairs and spare parts without any time limit.

A low stool with endless design customisation options

Our low stools are made from three types of wood: oak, beech, and walnut, but you can choose other local wood species such as chestnut, alder, maple, ash, or others. Our furniture typically receives a natural oil finish, but you can request that your stool be left raw, varnished, or receive a stain, patina, lacquer in your choice of colour, or another finish upon request. This design customisation of our stools can be at no extra cost if you require a large quantity of stools, for example, for a professional fit-out project.
