This oil highlights the pure beauty of its natural wood.A true nourishing balm that we apply to the entire surface of the raw wooden mini-bench, its impregnation is non-greasy. The oil thus applied waterproofs the furniture and deeply nourishes the wood.This oiled bench offers very good resistance to all minor daily aggressions, such as liquids, moisture, and dust.The wood remains free of harmful substances and retains all its excellent properties. The final sanding and the application of the oil are done entirely by hand. This ensures an impeccable finish quality.The oil used complies with the toy standard EN 71-3 for children's safety.
We prioritize wood from sustainably managed forests, all certified PEFC ("Program for the Endorsement of Forest Certification schemes"), a forest certification recognition program that takes into account environmental, societal, and economic dimensions. The oak used to craft this 60 cm small wooden bench comes from a local public forest in the Saulnot municipality certified PEFC (License No.: PEFC/10-21-13/157). It was entirely sawn and shaped on-site, at the workshop. This PEFC-labeled bench provides you with the guarantee that its wood comes from responsible French sources.

Eco-design is a proactive approach that reduces the environmental footprint, meaning it minimizes the product's impact on the environment and biodiversity right from its manufacturing stage. The idea is to maintain visibility across all stages of the manufacturing process—the life cycle of our small 60 cm Pap wooden bench:
• From the sourcing of the tree: Our raw material, oak, is sourced from a sustainably managed forest within a 15-kilometer radius of the workshop in Saulnot.
• Through its manufacturing using local, PEFC-certified wood: A guaranteed renewable resource.
• Up to its reparability: The natural wood can be sanded and restored.
• And its recyclability at the end of its life, thanks to its 100% oak mono-material composition.

In some premises, indoor air can be polluted by the emission of chemical and biological compounds originating from cleaning products, heating systems, decorative and building materials, external pollutants from agricultural and industrial activity, and even road traffic. Poor indoor air quality can have health effects over the short or long term.
To minimize pollutant emissions inside the building, we prioritize materials with low Volatile Organic Compound (VOC) emissions in the workshop. All our furniture, such as the 60 cm small wooden bench, is manufactured with carefully selected natural materials.
The advantage? A reduction in indoor air pollution due to lower VOC (Volatile Organic Compound) emissions.
To preserve the beauty of the wood, the workshop advises using a soft, dry cloth for dusting. Avoid harsh cleaning products. At the workshop, we use a natural oil that we highly recommend: Rubio® natural oil. This oil naturally nourishes, cleans, and protects your eco-responsible furniture, free from toxic or harmful substances.
Daily maintenance of the 60 cm Pap small wooden bench is very simple and easy. It requires:
• Daily cleaning with a soft, damp sponge or cloth.
• Occasional maintenance: Apply the care oil with a cloth.
• In case of scratches: Sand and apply the care oil.
