The finish on the MéliMélo solid walnut design table is handmade by our cabinetmakers.
The wood is carefully sanded with a fine grain (180 grit paper) before being treated with Rubio® natural oil, containing 0% VOCs (volatile organic compounds).
This environmentally-friendly finish protects the wood over the long term while enhancing its natural grain.
It leaves the surface silky smooth and soft to the touch, while providing effective protection against stains and daily wear and tear.
This solid wood design table is made entirely in France, in our workshop located in Haute-Saône.
The wood we use to make the MéliMélo table comes from sustainably managed regional forests in Burgundy Franche-Comté.
Since 2023, our workshop has had its own sawmill, enabling us to reduce our CO2 emissions and guarantee strict quality control of the wood selected for our furniture.
The oak we use has been PEFC certified since 2012, a certification that ensures sustainable forest management by taking into account both environmental and social aspects.
Our supplies, as well as our company, are audited annually by an independent body to ensure compliance with PEFC standards.

French cabinetmaking makes everything from A to Z. Protecting the environment is a preventive approach that minimizes the product's impact on the atmosphere:
- Raw materials: our cabinetmakers work exclusively with PEFC-certified solid, local wood.
- Manufacturing: our craftsmen avoid making wood scraps, and if they do, we try to reuse them to make other objects. For example, the salad servers available in "Accessories".
- Transport: Our furniture can be picked up in our workshop, or we can deliver it. The team works to group orders so that only one delivery is needed.
- Use: Made in France and eco-designed with solid wood from Burgundy-Franche-Comté, this guarantees you furniture with unrivalled longevity and manufacturing quality.
- The finish on our Made in France furniture is handcrafted and refined with Rubio® natural vegetable oils (meets EN 71-3 toy standard for children's safety).
- End of furniture/recycling: The advantage of solid wood is that, once worn, you can sand off the damaged part. If the damage is more serious, don't hesitate to contact us for more information.
"We meticulously select the wood used in the manufacture of our furniture to guarantee :
