ENSURING THE MAINTENANCE AND DURABILITY OF YOUR DELAVELLE FURNITURE

Wood Maintenance

Our furniture is protected with Rubio Oil + 2C with hardener, a vegetable oil that is free of VOCs (volatile organic compounds).

Regular maintenance:
• With their oiled finish, our furniture does not require specific maintenance: you can simply clean them with a sponge or a damp cloth daily, using mild soap or dishwashing liquid.
• You can also use the Rubio® Interior Soap, an eco-friendly, ready-to-use soap specifically developed for the maintenance of surfaces treated with Rubio® Monocoat oils.

Occasional maintenance:
• Highly used surfaces may dull over time. Use the Refresh Eco Rubio® oil to restore the silky feel to the surface and refresh the oil protection.
• If liquid or wet metal has been in contact with your furniture, a stain may have appeared. Use the Tannin Remover Rubio®
• If greasy substances have been in contact with your furniture, a stain may have appeared. Use the Grease Remover Spray Rubio®

Repairs in case of accidents:

• If your furniture has sustained more significant damage such as a scratch, dent or an indelible stain, you should sand the affected area with sandpaper and apply the treatment oil we initially used, Oil Plus 2C Smoke 5% for all our furniture except walnut, for which we use Oil Plus 2C Pure .
• Do not hesitate to ask for our advice. Repairs and after-sales service can also be carried out in our workshop (estimate upon request) or by a professional of your choice, for whom you can find a repair locator tool on the ADEME website.

Note: oiled surfaces require 10 days for full hardening. Protect the surface from humidity during this period. After use, allow any cloths or utensils soaked in oil to dry outdoors before discarding them! DANGER OF SPONTANEOUS COMBUSTION! Refer to the instructions printed on the bottle. Maintenance instructions are available on our product pages under the "CARE" tab, and you can find further information on the Rubio® website.

Maintenance of HI-MACS® Resin

Daily maintenance:
• Clean daily with a sponge or damp cloth.
• Regularly clean with a damp sponge and a light abrasive cleaner.
• For more information, please refer to the HI-MACS® Care Guide

Repairs:
• If your furniture has sustained more significant damage, such as scratches or more substantial impacts, ask for our advice.
• HI-MACS® is a homogeneous material throughout its thickness and can be repaired, re-glued, sanded, or polished by a professional.

Maintenance of Upholstered Furniture in Bonneval Wool by Arpin

The Arpin fabrics on our chairs, armchairs, and Aix benches can be cleaned with a steam cleaner or stain remover, which works very well for removing stains from Bonneval wool fabric.

For specific stains like blood or wine, we recommend using the cleaner with beef bile soap.

Replacement of Accessories and Spare Parts

All Delavelle furniture is eco-designed to be restored in case of accidents, wear, or breakage, which is why we commit to providing spare parts for at least 20 years for our furniture range: cushions, pads, and other accessories that are either available directly for sale from the ACCESSORIES tab, or upon request from our customer service.

By choosing Delavelle furniture, you are making a choice for a high-quality, durable, and environmentally friendly investment. Your furniture is likely to stay with you for a long time, and why not even last through several generations!
