Ostal, the Customizable Contemporary Farm Table

Pierre Dubourg reinvents the traditional farm table with a modern design. The name "Ostal", meaning "inn" in Catalan, evokes warmth and friendliness. This small dining table combines the authenticity of solid wood with contemporary elements, such as the metal footrest beam. This mix of authenticity and modernity fits perfectly in modern interiors, with a subtle industrial touch.

Entirely manufactured in France in our workshops in Bourgogne Franche-Comté, this customizable table is made with top-quality solid oak. The top, with profiled edges, ensures both strength and elegance, while the angled legs provide stability. Each piece is assembled using traditional joinery techniques, such as tenon and mortise joints.

• 120 cm tables (120 x 75 cm, 120 x 80 cm, 120 x 85 cm, 120 x 90 cm, 120 x 100 cm): perfect for small spaces such as kitchens or small dining rooms, these tables provide enough space for 4 people. The varying width allows you to adapt the table to different room configurations while ensuring practical comfort for everyday meals.

140 cm Table – More Spacious

• 140 cm tables (140 x 75 cm, 140 x 80 cm, 140 x 85 cm, 140 x 90 cm, 140 x 100 cm): slightly larger, these tables are ideal for those seeking more space while still catering for 4 people. The additional length allows better arrangement of dishes and accessories on the table, while maintaining a friendly and elegant atmosphere.

180 cm Table – For the Whole Family

• 180 cm tables (180 x 75 cm, 180 x 80 cm, 180 x 85 cm, 180 x 90 cm, 180 x 100 cm): these rectangular tables are perfect for hosting 6 people, with 3 guests on each side. The width, ranging from 75 cm to 100 cm, provides ample central space for dishes while still being perfectly suited for daily meals or special occasions.

Perfect for small and medium spaces, our 100% customizable table, made in France, will adapt perfectly to your living room, kitchen, or dining room! Thanks to standardized elements, it maintains an excellent value for money. You can choose other wood species like beech, ash, or maple, or opt for a stone top or reclaimed materials.
Its major advantage? Thanks to its flat-edged top, this metal and solid wood table can be easily connected to other Ostal models. Create banquet tables on demand to accommodate your guests for special occasions. A modular concept that combines aesthetics and practicality!

The Customizable Metal Footrest Beam

The metal footrest beam is fully customizable. Choose from a wide range of colors, applied with a baked-on polymer lacquer for maximum durability.

• Gunmetal Black: this is our standard finish (see photos above), a handcrafted black patina, protected with a special anti-rust steel oil and wax. The patina offers unmatched variations in shades and is suitable for private use, but it is more fragile than lacquered finishes and we do not recommend it for high-traffic environments (bars, restaurants, etc.) or salty environments (coastal areas) that might cause oxidation.
• RAL 9005 Black: unparalleled resistance suited for all uses, even the most intensive, this finish is perfect for restaurants, inns, lodges, or any "contract" establishment. The surcharge is €42 per unit, but it is discounted for bulk orders, so feel free to ask for a quote for your professional projects.
• RAL 9003 White: suited for all uses, even the most intensive, it is perfect for restaurants, inns, lodges, or other "contract" establishments. The surcharge is €42 per unit, but it is discounted for bulk orders, feel free to ask for a quote for your professional projects.
• Color of Your Choice: baked-on polymer lacquer at 200°C for exceptional durability, this finish is suitable for all uses, even the most intensive, and is perfect for restaurants, inns, lodges, or other "contract" establishments. Provide us with the RAL reference of your chosen color and we will send you a quote. The surcharge is between €60 and €150 per unit, but discounted for bulk orders. A Custom Table, Delivered Assembled but Disassemblable

The Ostal table is delivered fully assembled, but remains disassemblable for easy transport or repairs. If you have access constraints, we can deliver it disassembled, with assembly by our team during delivery. This service is available upon request.
