Custom-made dining table

Customizable and available made-to-measure, the MéliMélo table in walnut, a name derived from its legs which intertwine to form one, is designed and manufactured in our own workshop in the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region of France. Like all our furniture, the table is available in other wood species, and is 100% manufactured from the cutting of the wood to the finishing by our cabinet-makers. Our company has been committed to PEFC since 2012. The forests of our Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region offer us a remarkable diversity and quality of trees. So it's only natural that we use this natural resource of local, renewable and sustainable wood.

Description of the MéliMélo walnut table:

The walnut dining table has been carefully finished by hand by our cabinet makers. The walnut was finely sanded before being oiled with Rubio® natural oil, which contains no VOCs (Volatile Organic Compounds). By choosing this natural finish, we are making a commitment to protecting the environment. What's more, it enhances the wood and gives it a soft, smooth feel.

For the MéliMélo walnut kitchen or dining room table, we only use PEFC-certified wood. Our company has been committed to PEFC since 2012 and has set up a PEFC chain of custody. Among other things, this certification ensures that the wood used comes from sustainably managed forests. This control of the sustainability of the resource takes place throughout the supply chain: the forests where the trees come from are certified, the sawyers who transform the trees into planks are certified and we are the final link in this chain of control as a furniture manufacturer and distributor. The trees we select come from local, natural forests that have not been planted by man. When treated properly, these ecosystems ensure the natural renewal of the resource.

Our company and our supplies are audited every year by an independent body to check compliance with the certification standards:

French cabinetmakers manufacture all furniture in their workshop from A to Z. This helps to protect the environment and minimize the product's impact on the planet:

- Raw materials: the company works exclusively with PEFC-certified wood from Burgundy-Franche-Comté.
- Manufacturing: our craftsmen avoid making wood scraps, and if they do, we try to reuse them to make other objects. For example, the salad servers available in "Accessories".
- Transport: Our furniture can be picked up in our workshop. Or, if you prefer, we can group your orders together and make a single delivery. This helps reduce carbon emissions.
- Use: 100% Made in France and eco-designed with solid wood from Burgundy-Franche-Comté, this guarantees you furniture with unrivalled longevity and manufacturing quality.
- The finish of our Made in France furniture is refined with Rubio® natural vegetable oils (meets EN 71-3 toy standard for children's safety).
- End of furniture/recycling: The advantage of solid wood is that, once worn, you can sand off the damaged part. If the damage is more serious, don't hesitate to contact us for more information.

"We meticulously select the wood used in the manufacture of our furniture to guarantee :

- reduced indoor air pollution
- absence of hazardous substances.
- reduced VOC (volatile organic compound) emissions.
- formaldehyde-free wood glue.
- natural vegetable oil finish (toy standard EN 71-3 for children's safety).

Maintenance of this dining table is simple and easy:

- Routine maintenance for a solid wood table:
Simply clean with a damp sponge or cloth, or use Rubio ® interior soap.

- Occasional maintenance for a walnut table:
Highly stressed surfaces can tarnish over time. Use Rubio ® Refresh Eco Care Oil to restore the surface's silkiness and revive the oil's protection.
If a greasy substance has remained in contact with your furniture, a stain has certainly appeared. Use Rubio ® Degreasing Spray cleaner.
