Solid oak kitchen table

The Couscous table is an ode to living together, conviviality and sharing. It is the popular everyday table that will naturally find its place in kitchens and dining rooms, where people like to gather around a good meal. The design highlights the profiling of the legs and the top joined together by a superb assembly of cabinetwork. Winner of the FRENCH DESIGN INCUBATOR 2022, the Couscous table was designed by designer Bina BAITEL and made 100% in France such as all our products.

The final sanding and the meticulous application of a natural oil are carried out by hand by our cabinet-makers, guaranteeing a finish of exceptional quality and an impeccable feel. Thanks to this natural process, the natural beauty of walnut is fully preserved. In addition, this method ensures that the excellent properties of the wood are preserved while freeing it from any harmful substances.

The oak used for the Couscous table comes from local forests and is PEFC (Pan European Forest Certification) certified. This is the guarantee that the wood used for this table comes from sustainably managed forests. Our supplies are regularly controlled by an independent organization.

Ecodesign is a preventive approach that minimizes the impact of the product on the environment:

• stackable: optimization of storage
• made of local wood: renewable and recyclable resource
• repairable: natural wood can be sanded and restored
• the finishing oil is made from vegetable matter (from sustainable cultivation and local origin)
• the wood scraps and waste from the manufacturing of this coffee table are recycled to the maximum and used as fuel for the heating of our workshop.

"We meticulously select the wood used in the manufacture of our furniture to guarantee :

- reduced indoor air pollution
- absence of hazardous substances.
- reduced VOC (volatile organic compound) emissions.
- formaldehyde-free wood glue.
- natural vegetable oil finish (toy standard EN 71-3 for children's safety).

The maintenance of the Couscous furniture is very simple and easy:

• daily cleaning: with a damp sponge or cloth.
• occasional maintenance: apply care oil with a cloth.
• in case of scratches: sand and apply care oil.
