Simple and stylish coffee table!

Simplicity and Lightness: two key words for the Aix coffee table in walnut, which is entirely handcrafted in solid wood.  Our craftsmen only work with locally sourced, PEFC certified wood. The coffee table's top is tapered around the edges to reveal only a few millimetres of thickness. The design and build quality give it an unmatched strength and durability. The selected wood and finish quality are impeccable. It is available in oak and walnut, and can be custom-made, with other wood types available upon request. This stylish coffee table comes in two sizes: 80 x 80 and 120 x 80 cm, height 45 cm. For other custom dimensions, visit: "Custom Aix walnut coffee table". delavelle furniture is treated only with natural oil, and displays all the beauty of natural wood.
The wood remains free of harmful substances and retains all its excellent properties.
It breathes, absorbing moisture and gradually releasing it into the air, ensuring a healthy and pleasant room climate.
The final sanding and application of the oil is done entirely by hand, ensuring an impeccable finish and feel.
The oil used meets the EN 71-3 toy standard for children's safety.
The wood we use comes from forests close to our workshop; sometimes less than 2 km away.
In 2012 we obtained the PEFC (Pan European Forest Certification) label.
This guarantees that the wood we use comes from sustainably managed forests.
Our supplies are regularly checked by an independent organisation.

Chain of custody no.: QUAL/12-716.
"Ecodesign is a preventive approach that minimises a product's impact on the environment:

- stackable: optimising transport and reducing the carbon footprint.
- made from local wood: a renewable and recyclable resource.
- repairable: natural wood can be sanded and restored.
- single-material: makes it easier to recycle at the end of its life".
Our furniture is made from selected natural materials:

- reduced indoor air pollution
- absence of hazardous substances.
- reduced VOC (volatile organic compound) emissions.
- formaldehyde-free wood glue.
- natural vegetable oil finish (toy standard EN 71-3 for children's safety).
The oiled wooden surfaces of our coffee tables are very easy to maintain.
You can clean them daily with a damp sponge or cloth.
For optimum care, you can clean them with nourishing care oil.
Unlike a varnished surface, you can easily repair scratches on the wood surface.
