Creative and talented cabinetmaker designer, founder of the Hugo Delavelle Workshop.

Hugo Delavelle, a renowned furniture designer and cabinetmaker, began his journey in the world of wood at a young age. Holder of a cabinetmaker's CAP at just 15 years old, he quickly demonstrated exceptional passion and talent. His path led him to train with the Compagnons du Devoir, where he spent over six years gaining experience with companies in France and Switzerland, thus developing a solid expertise in cabinetmaking.
Hugo continued his training in handcrafted design in Germany, at the Gut Rosenberg Academy (Aachen). His design ideas were brought to light when his Aix chair was conceived as his final project for the Manufactum craftsmanship competition. After a few experiences, he founded the Hugo Delavelle Workshop in 2009, at the age of 25, a company dedicated to creating eco-designed furniture made in France using local wood. These high-quality, contemporary furniture pieces combine eco-responsibility, modernity, and traditional craftsmanship techniques.
Today, Hugo Delavelle is recognized not only for his exceptional craftsmanship in cabinetmaking but also for his contribution to education and the transmission of knowledge in ecological design and eco-design. His design approach, focused on purity, functionality, and timeless aesthetics, relies on natural materials and techniques inherited from fine cabinetmaking, as well as innovative technologies.
This unique fusion of design and artisanal expertise made in France gives birth to authentic and decidedly contemporary furniture collections, making him a leading figure in the world of high-end and luxury furniture. With his expertise in cabinetmaking and design talent, Hugo Delavelle is an essential reference in the world of furniture.
