Solid wood design kitchen table

The design of this Elmar oak table reinterprets the traditional solid wood kitchen table. The top is profiled to reveal only a third of its thickness, giving lightness to the design while enjoying the strength and durability of a thick solid oak top. The sobriety of the design allows this table to be easily integrated into contemporary and more classic architecture. Like all our furniture, this solid oak table is 100% Made in France and is handcrafted in our cabinetmaking workshop in Saulnot, Burgundy Franche-Comté.

"This table is treated with natural oil, and displays all the beauty of natural oak. The wood remains free of harmful substances and retains all its excellent properties. It breathes, absorbing moisture and gradually releasing it into the air, ensuring a healthy and pleasant environment.
The final sanding and application of the oil is done entirely by hand, ensuring an impeccable finish and feel.
The oil used meets the EN 71-3 toy safety standard.

The oak used for this Elmar table comes from local forests and is PEFC (Pan European Forest Certification) certified. This is the guarantee that the wood used for this table comes from sustainably managed forests. Our supplies are regularly controlled by an independent organization.

Ecodesign is a preventive approach that minimizes the impact of the product on the environment:

• stackable: optimization of storage
• made of local wood: renewable and recyclable resource
• repairable: natural wood can be sanded and restored
• the finishing oil is made from vegetable matter (from sustainable cultivation and local origin)
• the wood scraps and waste from the manufacturing of this coffee table are recycled to the maximum and used as fuel for the heating of our workshop.

"We meticulously select the wood used in the manufacture of our furniture to guarantee :

- reduced indoor air pollution
- absence of hazardous substances.
- reduced VOC (volatile organic compound) emissions.
- formaldehyde-free wood glue.
- natural vegetable oil finish (toy standard EN 71-3 for children's safety).

The maintenance of this Elmar oak table is very simple and easy:

• daily cleaning: with a damp sponge or cloth.
• Occasional maintenance: apply care oil with a cloth.
• in case of scratches: sand and apply care oil.
