This high-end pepper mill is handcrafted in France using solid oak from our local sustainably managed forests. As part of an eco-design approach, the Garenne pepper mill was designed by Atelier Prosper to make the most of solid wood scraps from our cabinetmaking shop that are too small to be used in the manufacture of Delavelle furniture.
Made in our cabinetmaking workshop in Franche Comté, more precisely in Saulnot (70), the Garenne mill is available in several types of solid wood: oak, walnut, beech or hornbeam, so you can customize it to proudly present your eco-responsible salt and pepper shakers to your guests.
This designer salt and pepper shaker features a ceramic grinding mechanism for precise grinding and long-lasting resistance to oxidation, even in contact with salt or pepper. Granulometry is easily adjustable on several levels to satisfy even the finest gourmets. Last but not least, Crushgrind®'s top-of-the-range quality is recognized by a 25-year warranty on the mechanism.
Right from the design phase, we seek to optimize the use of materials to minimize environmental impact. During the furniture manufacturing phase, all solid wood offcuts are recovered and recycled: the waste is either reused to create various components for our furniture, reused to create accessories or, last but not least, recycled as fuel for our biomass boiler, which heats our workshop.
