Solid walnut coffee table made in France

Born from a collaboration between our joinery workshop in Burgundy-Franche-Comté and the designer artist Bina Baitel, Couscous is a collection handcrafted in short circuit with 100% French materials.

This eco-responsible wooden coffee table is entirely made in France from local walnut sourced from the forests near our workshop, certified PEFC, meaning they are sustainably managed.

A design coffee table: warm and elegant

The design of this contemporary coffee table is an ode to sharing and conviviality, with soft, rounded lines that highlight the superb traditional joinery craftsmanship: the legs of the Couscous design coffee tables pass through the tabletop to become an integral part, revealing the grain of the wood on its surface.

This original coffee table features an innovative design with the wood grain orientation creating a subtle pattern, revealing the structure of the wood's surfaces as if by transparency. Both functional and aesthetic, this innovative joinery provides the Couscous collection with a unique visual signature.

Our renowned craftsmanship for this living room coffee table

Composed of a set of table, coffee table, desk, and chair available in oak and walnut, the Couscous collection has been winner of the FRENCH DESIGN INCUBATOR 2022, the first incubation platform for French furniture projects.

In early 2024, this walnut coffee table from the Couscous collection was included in the prestigious catalogue of Mobilier National, showcasing its high craftsmanship quality and flawless finishes handmade by our joinery artisans.
