Wooden Table and Benches, the Design Combo!

This set consists of a MéliMélo Table and two PAP Benches in solid oak, a perfect match. The benches are easily stored between the table legs, and the inclination of the bench legs matches the inclination of the table legs. Reinvent your kitchen or dining room with this contemporary dining set, crafted in our workshop by our cabinetmakers.

Like all our furniture, this table and benches are eco-designed and made in France in our workshop with local PEFC-certified solid wood. This set can also be made to measure in a variety of local woods such as walnut, ash, maple, hornbeam, beech or chestnut.

Seen from above, the seat of the PAP bench is shaped like a bow tie, giving it its name. The seat is made up of two inclined wooden planks forming a "hollow" surface that offers appreciable ergonomics and comfort.

Solid wood design table :

The design of the legs gives this MéliMélo table a lightness, uniqueness and elegance that are second to none. The name comes from the shape of the legs, which are made of two pieces of solid wood joined at the bottom but openworked at the top, creating the illusion of two intertwined legs.

The Ostal collection is carefully sanded by our cabinet-makers and then receives 3 coats of Rubio® preparation and protection.
This natural oil finish provides long-lasting protection that is easy to maintain, while preserving the look and feel of raw oak.
The steel tube is hand-treated with a black patina, then oiled and waxed. On request it can also be lacquered in the colour of your choice.

The wood we use to make the MéliMélo table and PAP benches, like all our furniture, is exclusively French. In the vast majority of cases, the wood comes from forests close to our workshop in Burgundy Franche-Comté. It comes from natural, sustainably managed forests. Our furniture workshop has been PEFC-certified since 2012, this certification guarantees that the wood used comes from sustainably managed forests that respect the forest balance by considering environmental and social aspects. Our company and our supplies are therefore audited every year by an independent organization to verify compliance with the certification standard:

To protect the environment, our cabinetmakers use a six-step eco-design process:

- Raw materials: our craftsmen work with local PEFC-certified wood.
- Manufacture: our cabinetmakers avoid making off-cuts, and if they do, we try to reuse them to make other objects.
- Transport: The team makes sure that orders are grouped together so that only one delivery is required. Our furniture can also be collected from our workshop.
- Use: Choosing DELAVELLE furniture made 100% in France, eco-designed with solid wood, guarantees you furniture with unrivalled longevity and manufacturing quality.
- The finish on our Made in France furniture is refined with Rubio® natural vegetable oils (meets EN 71-3 toy standard for children's safety).
- End of furniture/recycling: The advantage of solid wood is that, once worn, you can sand off the damaged part. If the damage is more serious, don't hesitate to contact us for more information.

We select natural materials to manufacture our furniture, thereby contributing to indoor air quality:
Reduced indoor air pollution,
Absence of hazardous substances,
Formaldehyde-free glue (harmful VOCs),
Natural vegetable oil finish, compliant with the EN 71-3 toy standard for children's safety.

"The Ostal set is easy to care for and requires no special maintenance:
On a daily basis, clean after use with a damp sponge or cloth.
If you want to restore the original silkiness after a long period of use, you can apply a maintenance oil available in the "maintenance" tab on the website.
In the event of a stain or scratch, solid wood can always be repaired, so don't hesitate to consult us if necessary."
